Youth Upskill Network Awards Certificates to First Batch Graduates
The first batch of 70 young individuals was awarded certificates by the Bangladesh-based platform, Youth Upskill Network (UNET), for their successful completion of the flagship program "Corporate Navigator." The certificate distribution ceremony took place on Sunday night at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka, conducted in a hybrid model.
The event was hosted by UNET founders and tech evangelists, Muhammad Altamish Nabil and Mahir Asif. Professor Dr. H.M. Zahirul Haque, Vice Chancellor of Canadian University, was the chief guest at the ceremony.
During the event, several successful corporate professionals and trainers who contributed to the "Corporate Navigator" program were present. The trainers for the first batch included KM Hasan Ripon (Daffodil Polytechnic Institute), Dr. Syedul Ashraf Kushal (Lifespring), AKM Monir Hossain (BanglaCat Group), Professor S.M. Arifuzzaman (Kazi Consultants), Kazi Nurus Sofa (Bkash Limited), Aleya Ferdousi (Upay Limited), Solaiman Ahmed Jisan (Public Speaking Professional), Zafir Shafi Chowdhury (Bondstein Technologies Limited), Niaz Ahmed (Corporate Ask), Mohammad Shahriar Imran (NCC Bank), and Ibrahim Khalil (SSL Wireless).
UNET's founders explained that the initiative, supported by Miyakir, aims to reduce the gap between education and employment. In a rapidly changing world, UNET focuses on equipping young people with essential soft skills, encouraging innovation, supporting entrepreneurial ventures alongside job creation, and ultimately contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) with a positive societal impact. Their mission is to empower one million young people worldwide by 2030 through training that prepares them for successful careers and entrepreneurship.
